Our columns & beams being installed in Protos EFW in Chester by our client Ward & Burke. These columns are ideal for rapid and safe construction – the use of Piekko shoes means that once the columns are lifted into place they’re bolted down and are immediately stable eliminating the requirement for temporary propping. These columns measure 12 metres but we have manufactured them up to 24 metres high!

The Protos Energy From Waste facility being developed by Covanta will process 400,000 tonnes of non-recyclable waste each year and will generate up to 49 megawatts of electricity – enough to power 90,000 UK homes.
